Kim Het Phrom- 7
The parents divorced and left the kids to live with neighbors. The neighbors brought her and her brother (Seang Hai Phrom) to the orphanage because they could not afford to care for them.
Rathanak-11
Rathanak's father is deceased and his mother was unable to find work. No one in the family could help care for him, so they brought him to the orphanage.
Kim Heng Phrom- 8
Kim Heng's father is deceased and she was left with neighbors when her mother moved to the city and attempted to find work. Her mother never returned and the neighbors brought her to the orphanage after they could only locate a grandmother who was too poor to care for her.
Smey-11
Smey's parents are divorced and he was living with his aunt and grandmother. They brought Smey to the orphanage when they could no longer afford to care for him.
Lin Ly-9
Lin's parents disappeared and her older brother brought her to the orphanage when he became unable to care for her.
